PatternAI Terms of Use (Website & App Usage Rules)

These Terms of Use ("Terms of Use") govern your access to and use of PatternAI's public website, marketing pages, documentation, and any non-enterprise public-facing applications or downloadable apps that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Site"). If you create an account or use PatternAI's product services, the PatternAI Terms of Service and other applicable policies may also apply.
Many software and AI service providers separate (a) website/app usage rules and (b) product/service terms, and include core topics like permitted use, prohibited conduct, IP rights, and disclaimers.
1) Who We Are
"PatternAI," "we," "us," and "our" means PatternAI Pvt Ltd, located at 1 ST FLOOR, ASHWINI LAYOUT, 2ND MAIN, EGIPURA, BANGALORE, KARNATAKA, 560047.
"You" means the person or entity using the Site.
2) Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
3) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Site only with parent/guardian permission.
4) Changes to the Site and These Terms
We may:
• update or modify the Site at any time (including features, content, and availability), and
• update these Terms of Use from time to time.
Changes are effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
5) Intellectual Property and License
5.1 Ownership
The Site (including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, software, and documentation) is owned by PatternAI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
5.2 Limited permission
Subject to these Terms of Use, PatternAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes.
5.3 Restrictions
You may not:
• copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from Site content except as expressly allowed,
• remove proprietary notices,
• use our name, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.
Comparable terms commonly reserve all rights not expressly granted and restrict copying and redistribution.
6) Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
1. Break the law
Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
2. Interfere with the Site
Attempt to disrupt, degrade, or impair the Site (e.g., malware, automated attacks, denial-of-service).
3. Unauthorized access
Attempt to gain access to non-public areas, other accounts, or systems.
4. Scrape or harvest data
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract Site content or data (except where permitted by law and consistent with robots.txt or written permission).
5. Reverse engineer
Reverse engineer or attempt to discover source code or underlying components of the Site, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
6. Misuse communications
Use contact forms or support channels for spam, harassment, or fraudulent purposes.
Many platforms also maintain separate acceptable-use/usage policies for clearer enforcement.
7) User Submissions (Feedback, Forms, and Messages)
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other materials through the Site ("Submissions"):
• you represent you have the rights to submit them, and
• you grant PatternAI a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and otherwise exploit Submissions for business purposes (e.g., improving the Site/Services), without compensation to you.
8) Links to Third-Party Sites and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. PatternAI does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9) App Stores and Device Terms (If Applicable)
If you access the Site through a mobile app distributed by an app store, your use may also be subject to the app store's terms and the terms of your device/OS provider. If there is a conflict between those terms and these Terms of Use, these Terms of Use govern your relationship with PatternAI, to the extent permitted.
10) Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATTERNAI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content is accurate, complete, or current. Similar disclaimers are standard across major SaaS and AI websites.
11) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
• PATTERNAI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE.
• PATTERNAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY LAW.
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PatternAI and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
• your use of the Site,
• your violation of these Terms of Use, or
• your violation of any law or third-party rights.
13) Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if:
• you violate these Terms of Use,
• your use creates risk or legal exposure for PatternAI or others, or
• required by law or security considerations.
14) Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
